Morocco 10 Days Tour From Marrakech
Enter the world of ancient Morocco on this tour through the country's imperial cities; Rabat, Meknes, Fes, and Marrakech. Travel through the mountainous land of Berbers and to the edge of Africa where we relax in the tranquil village of Merzouga desert. Explore a wonderful world of mountains, markets, and medinas on this 10 days in Morocco itinerary from Marrakech to Merzouga. Here, Andalusian-influenced architecture and French protectorate history meet the masters of the Atlas Mountains; the Berbers, and traditional tastes of tagines.
Day 1 Marrakesh Airport ⇒ Hotel in Marrakesh
You will be welcomed by your driver in the airport of Menara in Marrakesh and take you to your hotel in Marrakesh. Overnight in the hotel.
Also if you have already arrived Marrakesh few days before then we will pick up you in your Hotel then start the tour.
Day 2 Marrakesh ⇒ Ait Ben Hadou ⇒ Ouarzazate ⇒ Dades Valley
After breakfast in your riad, we will drive through the Atlas mountains via the Tizi N Tichka Pass, stopping for photos of the Berber villages ( you may take a walk in some villages to see Berber villages). Then we'll s visit 17th-century kasbah in the town of Telouet.
We'll drive in the direction of Ouarzazate where we will visit the UNESCO protected Ait ben Haddou kasbah and kasbah Taourirt, one of the most stunning Kasbahs in this area. Afterward, we will drive to Skoura, a city that overlooks several different lovely kasbahs especially the standing 18th century Kasbah of Ameridhil, then we’ll get to Kalaat Mgouna - visit the lovely rose valley.
On to the Dades valley where you'll enjoy seeing Many Berber villages and the unique rock formation “the monkey toes” along with many nomadic landscapes. and the amazing dads gorges and its crazy road( Tissdrine) where you'll watch the sunset.
Day 3 Dades Valley ⇒ Todgha Gorgdes ⇒ Merzouga
Today will be the epic day of this 9 days desert tour. After breakfast at the riad, we’ll go to todgha gorges where you will have free time to enjoy the panoramic views of Berber villages overlooking the valley and walk under the 300m high cliff, where many rock-climbers come to enjoy their best sport. Then your journey continues to Merzouga (where the camel trekking tours will be awaiting) passing through tinjdad (lunchtime) Erfoud and er-rissani while enjoying the great landscapes of Sahara Oasis.
Arriving in Merzouga in the afternoon you’ll be welcomed with a glass of mint tea. Then take camel ride in the dunes of Sahara Desert of Merzouga to reach the camp where you will have the night. It's advisable to bring with you a backpack to take it over camels beceause you can't take all your luggage over camels, You will leave your luggage in the car while riding the camel.
Day 4 Merzouga ⇒ Ziz Valley ⇒ Midelt ⇒ Azrou ⇒ Ifran ⇒ Fez
After breakfast, we will leave via Rissani, where you will stop to visit the local Souk (market). After that we continue through the vast Ziz valley that contains millions of palm trees all the way till Errachidia. We drive on crossing the Ziz gorges and then middle Atlas Mountains with its beautiful views. We Stop in Midelt for lunch. After lunch we will head to Fes crossing the cedar forest of Azrou, the largest one in Morocco, stopping for photos with the Barbary monkeys. Then, continue to visit Ifrane referred as “small Switzerland of Morocco” because of its European shape of buildings; we arrive in Fes by afternoon. Check in the riad.
Day 5 Guided tour sightseeing Fes
After breakfast in your Riad, you will start exploring the oldest city in Morocco, walking in its alleys and small streets. Our visit starts by visiting the Royal Palace gate, the Jewish quarter, the first Mellah ever built in Morocco, built during the 14th century. We will ensure that you visit all sites with cultural and historical interest including the famous Al Qaraouine University, the oldest one in the world, the Tanneries and Moulay Idriss mausoleum. After lunch, you will visit the tiles cooperative and then experience a wonderful panoramic view over the whole Medina of Fes. Overnight at the same Riad.
Day 6 Fez ⇒ Meknes ⇒ Volubilis ⇒ Chefchaouan
Depart early after breakfast towards Meknes; one has a magnificent view of the Medina. The tour begins with a tour of the walls with monumental gates dating from the seventeenth century Berdaine Bab, Bab Khemis. We continue exploring the city by the stables (Rua), attics (HERI), and Stud. Stop needed at the Mausoleum of Moulay Ismail was for a long time the only mosque that non-Muslims could visit in Morocco. It then exits through the famous Bab Mansour El on the vast square Hedim. We will continue to the ancient Roman ruins Volubilis, we will spend a few time exploring the 2000-year-old ruins and getting a picture of life during the Roman Empire. We will move to the blue city, overnight in Chefchaouen.
Day 7 Chefchaouan ⇒ Tetouan ⇒ Tangier
After breakfast, you can take a free time to walk around the blue city on your own to 12.30 PM, After We will pass by Tetouan city with its houses view on the hills, and pass by the mountains of Rif with the green sight of its green trees, overnight in Tanger.
Day 8 Tangier ⇒ Asilah ⇒ Rabat ⇒ Casablanca
After breakfast,the day dedicated to visite Tanger city , You’ll go on both a 4x4 and walking sightseeing tour. You’ll visit Cap Spartel, the impressive Palace of the sultan, the Necropolis, the caves of Hercules, you’ll have free time to visit Asilah its color and aroma-filled streets and pick up a souvenir. After we will drive you to Rabat, Then we visit the Kasbah of the udayas, erected by a terrible tribe of predators in the twelfth century. Then we visit Hassan 2 tower, where 4 facades are decorated different from each other, three in shades of pink and one in the gray because of the sea breeze, the remains of the old mosque and the Mohamed 5 mausoleum next to the tower,we reach Casablanca in the late afternoon .diner and overnight in the hotel
Day 9 Casablanca ⇒ Essaouira
in the morning you will start your trip to visit the biggest mosque in Casablanca, Hassan 2 Mosque, and you will leave Casablanca travelling towards Essaouira, This day, we have the opportunity to explore the coastal wind Essaouira that attracts plenty of windsurfers between April and November. It is well known also with its fortifies medina and its art galleries and boutique, or watch the fishing nets and traditional boats constructed in the hugely atmospheric port. The city also has a vibrant cultural mix, overnight accommodation in Essaouira.
Day 10 Essaouira ⇒ Marrakech
After breakfast, we continue our morocco tour to depart from the coast for the Red City of Marrakech with its impressive backdrop of the High Atlas Mountains, and on our way, we will make several stops to take photographs. Once in Marrakech, You can start exploring Marrakech; «the red city of Morocco”. We will ensure that you see the most important sites of historical and cultural interest, including the Majorelle Gardens, the Koutoubia Tower, the Saadian tombs, the Bahia Palace. After Lunch at a restaurant near the square, you will walk through the souks and view hundreds of handicrafts.
*And Transfer to the Airport if you have the flight that day or drop off in your Hotel in Marrakech.
*Also if you have the flight that day from Casablanca we Transfer to the Airport.
